Taraji Henson’s SNL appearance was long overdue yet worth the wait! On April 11, 2015, the actress who plays Cookie Lyon on Empire delivered some of the best SNL sketches we have seen in a long time. She appeared, alongside musical guest Mumford & Sons, on episode 18 of Saturday Night Live’s 40th season.
We certainly look forward to future Saturday Night Live episodes that feature Empire’s talented cast members. Jussie Smollett informed us that Taraji Henson’s SNL episode would be unforgettable and he was certainly telling the truth!
