The Platinum Life Cast

The Platinum Life is E!’s answer to VH1’s Love and Hip Hop franchise.  Unlike Love and Hip Hop, The Platinum Life focuses on powerful females in the music industry.  All the cast members are in relationships with popular artists.  The series also features all the drama you love seeing on Love and Hip Hop.

Episode 1 of the series, “Keep It Cute” showed two cast members in a heated argument during a trip to Las Vegas to see Jennifer Lopez perform.  The Platinum Life airs after Keeping Up With The Kardashians so it will get tons of viewers.  Scroll down for information about all the show’s cast members.

Asiah Collins is married to Kid Ink.  They both grew up in South Central Los Angeles and met in high school.  They started dating in her 20s and got married 8 years later.  The post above shows that they have a beautiful daughter.  Asiah explains that she knows the ins and outs of the music business because of her parents.

Shantel Jackson

Shantel Jackson aka Miss Jackson is in a relationship with rapper, Nelly.  She explains that she didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in her mouth.  Shantel grew up in the hood and shopped at the thrift store.  She says that Nelly wants to have a baby now but she wants to wait until they get married because she doesn’t want to be a “baby mama.”

Nazanin Mandi

Nazanin Mandi is in a relationship with Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter, Miguel.  The post above proves that Mandi has been down for a long time.  Her and Miguel have been together, on and off, for more than 11 years.  Nazanin reveals that Miguel’s first studio album was recorded in the closet of the couple’s studio apartment.

Crystal Smith

Crystal Smith is married to Shaffer Smith aka Ne-Yo.  They have one child together and Ne-Yo has two children from his previous relationship.  Crystal explains that she’s from the hood and she’s working hard to adjust.  People think she’s a home wrecker that ruined Ne-Yo’s first marriage, but she explains that’s a misconception.

Lola Monroe

Lola Monroe aka Queen Roe is King Los’ baby mama.  She represents Washington, D.C. and she’s ready to focus on her career as a rapper.  Lola explains that King Los supports her and we see the couple alongside their adorable son.  In episode 1 we see Miguel’s fiancee, Nazanin visit Lola at a photoshoot.

Alycia Bella is a recording artist who recently broke up with singer Ty Dolla Sign.  They dated on and off for about a decade.  Alycia explains that her and Ty’s relationship started out great.  They met in the studio and recorded music together.  She says their relationship went downhill when she realized he was living the life he described in his hit song “Paranoid.”

La’Myia Good

La’Miya Good is Meagan Good’s older sister.  She’s married to singer, Eric Bellinger.  La-Miya is a singer and actress.  She is friends with Ne-Yo’s wife, Crystal Smith.  In first episode of the series starts with La’Miya and Crystal working out.  La-Miya used to be in the group Isyss but now she’s supporting her husband’s career.  She also has a nonprofit organization with her sister.
