Tika Sumpter’s baby daddy is actor, Nicholas James.

Actress, Tika Sumpter used Twitter to announce that she gave birth to her first child! She named her beautiful baby girl Ella-Loren.  She explained that she’s slow clapping for parents around the world.  You don’t know how difficult it is to be a parent until you have your first child!

The Frame reports that actress, Tika Sumpter, did magnificent job in her role as Michelle Robinson in the film Southside With You.  It couldn’t have been easy playing the First Lady of the United States of America.  She’s one of the most hard working, charismatic people on the planet.  Michelle Obama is also a wonderful mother, a title that Sumpter will be able to relate to very soon:

Actress Tika Sumpter, who was born Euphemia L. Sumpter, is currently pregnant and everyone’s wondering who’s her baby daddy! The 36-year-old has come a long way in the past few decades.  When she was 16 she would travel from Long Island to Manhattan, every weekend, chasing her dream to become an actress.

She wasn’t going to auditions, instead she was trying to find open calls by researching in the city’s library.  According to Rolling Out the beautiful actress recently revealed what it’s like to be a dark-skinned celebrity.  In an essay she wrote for Hello Beautiful the New York native stated that her family has a diverse array of skin tones but among her brothers and sisters, she is the darkest.

She explained that she’s received criticism dating black men, something she no longer has to worry about.  The actress is expecting a baby with one of her co-stars who clearly appreciates her beauty.  For anyone who watches The Haves and the Have Nots, Candace Young is having a baby with Officer Justin!

The father of Sumpter’s child is actor, Nicholas “Nick” James Muscarella.  In the show he plays undercover cop, Officer Justin.  In a recent episode, Jeffery and Sumpter’s character, Candace, fight her ex-paramour, Quincy.  They stab Quincy to death and Jeffery is arrested and then sexually assaulted by the character that Nick plays, Officer Justin.  Check out a recent tweet that Sumpter made about the character:
