With the return of Empire just days away it’s time to take a look at some of our favorite celebrity appearances from Empire’s first season. We also included celebrities that appeared on the show’s second season.

From Lucious’ duet with Mary J. Blige to Cookie and Rosie O’Donnell (Pepper) reminiscing about the time they spent behind bars, you gotta love the diverse roster of celebrities that have appeared on the show.

There was Courtney Love as Elle Dallas and how can we forget Estelle as Delphine. There were numerous guests that left us begging for more including Becky G, Jennifer Hudson and Ne-Yo along with guests that we still can’t believe are gone: Adam Rodriguez, Chris Rock and DeRay Davis.

Then there are those guests we aren’t sure we’ll ever see: Mariah Carey, Oprah, Denzel Washington. While some have complained about the number of guests that have appeared on Empire, the show’s cast loves it! At the PaleyFest, Empire’s cast revealed who they would like to see on the show.
