Tupac Shakur’s half sister, Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur is played by Raven Symone Ferrell in Tupac’s biopic, All Eyez On Me. Sekyiwa was born on October 3, 1975, two years after Tupac. She is the daughter of Afeni Shakur and Tupac’s stepfather, Dr. Mutulu Shakur. Her father is currently serving a 60-year prison sentence for his role in the 1981 Brinks bank robbery.

In the video at the end of this article, Sekyiwa explains that her family was homeless in New York when she was 9 and Tupac was 12. Tupac landed a gig as Travis in Raisin In The Sun at The Apollo so they would have food and shelter during the day.

Set is portrayed by actress Rayven Symone Ferrell in All Eyez On Me. She was born on September 2, 1995 and named after Raven-Symone. She attended Kennesaw State University where she majored in Communications. Ferrell recently appeared in an episode of Greenleaf and she played Rachel in Star.
