What Did Lil Wayne Say On Twitter? Black Lives Matter Comments Video Rant

Lil Wayne is being torn to pieces on Twitter.  Fans are roasting the rapper because of what he said about the Black Lives Matter movement.  To hear his comments, check out the video towards the bottom of this post.  During an interview with ABC’s “Nightline” he explained that he’s not connected to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Many believe that the rapper made the comments to show his support for his on-again off-again girlfriend, Christina Milian.  In July, she was dragged on Twitter for her #AllLivesMatter comments.  During an interview on “The Breakfast Club” Lil Wayne’s baby mother, Toya Wright explains that he doesn’t understand the impact of his comments.

Wright explains that the rapper, whose real name is Dwyane Michael Carter, Jr., was actually saved by a white police officer in 1994.  He accidentally shot himself and most likely would have bled to death if it wasn’t for former New Orleans Police officer Robert Hoobler:

Dwyane was 12-years-old playing with a 9 mm handgun.  He shot himself in the chest but luckily the bullet missed his vital organs.  He dialed 911 and Hoobler decided to show up to the scene despite the fact that he wasn’t working.  The is the point that Lil Wayne is trying to make through his comments about the Black Lives Matter movement.
