The new Snapchat update doesn’t have a Stories screen and your friends are now all jumbled. On the old Snapchat you could see your friends’ public Stories in one window and your private messages with those friends were in another window. Snap, Inc. took all the Stories you could view and put them on the left.
No Stories
Instagram copied Snapchat Stories feature because it’s one of the best features Snapchat offers. Snapchat doesn’t understand that considering the recent changes they made. If you want to see a specific person’s Story that you haven’t snapped, you have to search the user privately for their Snap to show up.

If you don’t Snap a person you can’t see their Story unless you search for the person manually. The Discover screen is now ad-based. Memories is the same. I don’t even recognize Snapchat anymore.
You used to swipe to the left to see messages from your friends. To see your friends Stories you would swipe to the right. Now, when you swipe to the right, you see the Discover screen with Stories from publishers. I don’t want to see anymore articles by Daily Mail. All they cover is the Kardashians.
