Why Is YouTube Down Right Now? Not Working 2020 – App, TV, Server 503 Error

YouTube is down right now.  People are reporting 503 Server Errors on the YouTube mobile app and YouTube TV.

Glad to know #YouTubeDOWN is a thing and it wasn’t my WiFi acting up again.

#YouTubeDown is currently trending on Twitter.  As the tweet above explains, it’s most likely not your WiFi, it’s probably YouTube’s servers.

YouTube 503 Server Overload Error

The following tweet explains that the 503 Error means that the server is down for maintenance or it could be overloaded.  More than 400 hours of video is uploaded to YouTube every minute therefore the company must delete some or increase the server max.

YouTube Premium is also down.  The tweet below explains that the company should discount Premium customers next month and I definitely agree.
