Yani Marin As Carmen Of Mirage A Trois

Yani Marin plays a pop singer named Carmen on Empire.  Carmen is a member of Lyon Dynasty’s group, Mirage a Trois.  Marin previously had guest roles on “One Bad Choice”, “Smash”, “Criminal Minds” and “NCIS: Los Angeles”.

On “Criminal Minds” Marin plays Monica DeJesus, a witness that the UnSub leaves behind because he is focused on duplicating a previous crime scene.

Marin appeared on the “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode “Black Wind” as Pilar Guzman.  The NCIS teams helps Pilar and Tomas avoid deportation.

As she proves on Empire, the talented actress can also dance! Marin helped Queen Bey as a dancer on The Beyonce Experience.  Check out Marin’s demo reel:

Mirage a Trois includes Marin, Jamila Velazquez and Raquel Castro.  The talented group recently released the song “Crown” which you probably remember from Empire’s “Death Will Have His Day” episode:

“Crown” will appear on Empire’s Season 2 Volume 2 Soundtrack.  The soundtrack is scheduled to release on April 29.  Marin, Velazquez and Castro also appeared on Empire’s Season 2 Volume 1  Soundtrack where they teamed up with Yazz The Greatest on the track “Runnin“.
