Case Study
It’s important to seek advice from experts when you wish to achieve goals.  When it comes to social media, look no further than Taraji P. Henson aka Cookie Lyon.
Here are 10 of our favorite post from the talented actress.  We have also included some of our favorite Cookie Lyon posts from Empire’s official IG account.  Each image includes an action tip.  If it wasn’t for Taraji’s hard work on social media she most likely wouldn’t have been chosen to play Cookie Lyon.
10. Choose the right colors.  Cookie and fashion go hand-in-hand.  Her gold outfit is perfect on the following white background.

9. Everyone loves cute animals.  When you’re tired of posting images of yourself, post an image of your pet.

8. Slideshows are the way to go.  Videos and images are the norm on IG.  Post a slideshow to switch things up.

7. Don’t forget your crew! Empire is successful because the casts includes a large number of talented entertainers.  When you include other people in your images you get love from their fans.

6. Motivate your audience to achieve their goals.  Everyone wants to be Beyonce but no one wants to put in the work!

5. Catch your followers off guard.  If you’ve posted the same types of images since you’ve downloaded the app, your followers are bored.

3. Memes have been around forever but we still love them.  Posting funny memes will definitely earn you more followers.

2. There’s nothing better than funny little ones on IG.  While this type of content is usually unplanned, the following video shows that there are exceptions.

1. Never forget how powerful selfies can be.  Buffer explains that selfies are popular because we pay attention to faces more than anything else.
