Katlynn Simone is the “new girl” on Empire. The talented actress plays Treasure on the series. Treasure is the Lyon family’s new female singer and her amazing voice caught Cookie Lyon’s attention. Cookie and Lucious lost Empire Entertainment so they’re starting at the bottom with their new company Lyon Family Management.

Katlynn Simone Smith (born October 30, 1995) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she is best known for her role as Brittany Pitts aka “Brit Brat” on The Game.
As a child, Katlynn loved singing and asked her parents for vocal lessons. Her wish eventually came through. Simone took vocal lessons and attended Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Her life changed when she landed a role on The Game.

Empire will give Katlynn a new level of exposure and she deserves it. When you have talent and you appear on the series, you’re destined for success. Jussie Smollett, Bryshere Gray and Serayah McNeill are great examples. They’ll be able to successfully relaunch their music careers thanks to their success on Empire.
